We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile financial services clients. They are currently looking for a People Operations Specialist to join them for a 12 month contract in their London office.

Overview of the Role:

The People Operations Specialist is an integral part of the People Team, ensuring that HR Operations run smoothly and effectively, enhancing the employee experience from onboarding through to offboarding. They will support various HR areas such as onboarding, benefits, payroll and will prepare the People Team Metrics. The People Operations Specialist will be responsible for all People Team systems and the provision of people information and data analysis to help the People Team manage and improve the employee experience.

Systems:

  • Responsible for People Team systems including HRIS (currently Cascade), IPOS, MyFlex, and supporting the team with background checks, employee engagement systems (Hive) and LMS.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of Cascade records and ensuring data changes are accurately inputted.
  • Create and manage workflows for approvals, manage data changes to the system and responsible for system permissions updates.
  • Be an Admin super user for HRIS and the first point of contact for HRIS rated queries.
  • Responsible for training employees/managers on the use of Cascade.
  • Support with background checks, ensuring all employees are checked and complaint
  • Be able to pro-actively suggest and improve People processes and the employee life cycle, with the use of People Systems by maintaining good data and analysing data.
  • Address issues relating to incomplete and inaccurate data, to ensure the HR data is accurate.

Benefits:

  • Partner with the Scheme's benefit provider (AON) to ensure an efficient annual renewal of My Flex, supporting the implementation process for any benefit changes and completing annual UAT testing
  • Assisting with benefit and My Flex queries
  • Managing monthly employee benefit upload

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Gather and analyse data with HR metrics to provide monthly People Team metrics and quarterly EDI statistics
  • Prepare and present regular management information and ad hoc reports for the business, using people data and insights to enhance employee experience

Other:

  • Manage hybrid attendance and act as first point of contact for queries relating to office attendance
  • Supports with salary review process
  • Support monthly payroll process
  • Work closely with other areas such as finance, Payroll and IT to create a positive working environment and culture.
  • Provide project support with People related projects across the Team
  • To maintain confidentiality in all matters, adhering to GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
  • To support the People Team in response to peaks and troughs of business activity.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Has in-depth knowledge of People Operation processes
  • Can work independently, with minimal guidance
  • Has excellent Communication skills and has a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Can identify trends and contributes to process improvements across the employee life cycle
  • Experience of data and data analysis, insights, and reporting processes
  • Experience working pro-actively with a variety of systems
  • Experience or good understanding of the capabilities and competencies for an evolving organisation and supporting colleagues during change
  • Must be analytical and detail focused
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and be able to build effective relationships across the wider business
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive material in a sympathetic and professional manner

Systems

  • Experience of HRIS is essential, experience of Cascade highly desirable
  • Experience of Office365

Location:

This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to work from the clients London office 2 days a week.

Working hours:

Standard working hours with some flex where required.
