Job Title People Operations Manager Summary

We're looking for an experienced People Operations Manager to lead HR service delivery for a multi-jurisdictional organisation across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Based in Dublin, this hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives on operational excellence, compliance and delivering an outstanding employee experience. You'll play a key role in shaping HR strategy and driving process improvement across multiple sites.

Location and Working Pattern

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in our Citywest office, with regular bi-weekly travel to the UK.

Client Overview

Our client is a well-established, international organisation operating across a complex, multi-site environment. They pride themselves on high standards, compliance excellence, and initiatives that drive employee engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing People Operations team across Ireland and the UK.
  • Partner with People Business Partners and stakeholders to align operational HR support with strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with employment law, GDPR and EU directives across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ensure accuracy of HR data and payroll processes, and implement continuous improvement in reporting.
  • Drive process standardisation, automation and simplification to improve efficiency.
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, reward administration and lifecycle activities with a focus on engagement.
  • Support employee relations and provide accessible HR services to a dispersed workforce.
  • Enhance HR digital tools and systems to create scalable, user-friendly platforms.
Must-Have Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience managing HR operations in a multi-site, multi-jurisdictional organisation.
  • Proven expertise in HR service delivery, process optimisation and compliance.
  • Strong HR systems knowledge including payroll data flows and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Degree in HR, Business or related field (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent).
  • CIPD Level 7 or Postgraduate HR qualification.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or complex professional services.
  • Background in continuous improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Training in employment law, GDPR/data protection or HR analytics.
  • Prior involvement in large HRIS or payroll transformation initiatives.
