Our client is a dynamic, student-focused organisation committed to enhancing the overall experience of its community. They are seeking a HR Advisor (People Advisor) to join their People Team, supporting the delivery of a high-quality HR service across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work in a collaborative and values-driven environment, contributing to both operational HR activities and strategic people initiatives.

Responsibilities

In this varied and hands-on role, you will:

  • Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle
  • Support employee relations matters, offering practical and timely solutions
  • Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes
  • Promote employee wellbeing and support engagement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HR records and systems, ensuring data integrity
  • Assist in delivering People projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at Advisor level
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR best practices
  • Ability to provide clear, practical advice to managers and staff
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using HR systems and managing employee data
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to work
