Pensions Solicitor (Partner) / Birmingham / £Highly Competitive - Our client is a highly regarded UK law firm with a strong national reputation across its core practice areas. The firm has continued to invest strategically in its Midlands presence and is seeking an experienced Pensions Partner to play a key role in the next phase of growth. JOB REF:4242.
The pensions practice advises a diverse client base including employers, trustees, public sector bodies, and financial institutions on the full spectrum of pensions matters. THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Partner to join and help shape the firm's pensions offering in Birmingham. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across employment, corporate, banking, and dispute resolution teams while leading complex pensions mandates and developing client relationships. The role offers significant autonomy, access to high-quality work, and the opportunity to contribute to strategic business development initiatives both regionally and nationally.
THE CANDIDATE
Applications are welcomed from established Pensions Partners or ambitious Legal Directors, Senior Associates, or Counsel with a demonstrable track record of developing business and managing client relationships.
Candidates should possess:
• Extensive experience advising on a broad range of pensions matters.
• Strong technical expertise across trustee and employer advisory work.
• A proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Experience leading transactions, projects, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
• The ambition to contribute to the growth and direction of a successful practice.
• A portable following is advantageous but not essential for candidates able to demonstrate a clear business case and growth strategy.
