Job Title: Pensions Operations and Change Analyst
Location: Leeds/Hybrid
Contract Type: 3 months with scope to extend
Role Overview
We are seeking a Pensions Operations and Change Analyst to support a pensions change project. The role will focus on assessing, and supporting the operational impacts of this change, ensuring impacted colleague journeys and operational processes are clearly documented. This role will also manage implementation activity associated with the outcome of the assessments.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the programme team, ensuring operational readiness and delivering a positive member experience throughout the transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and document operational impacts of the pension scheme transition across internal functions and supplier relationships.
- Provide subject matter expertise on pensions, to support programme decision-making.
- Work closely with programme leadership to align operational change activities with the overall delivery plan.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless adoption of new processes and services.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Support the design and implementation of new operational processes, controls, and communication approaches.
- Produce high-quality documentation including impact assessments, operating models, process maps, and readiness plans.
- Project governance support tasks ie plan updates, action tracker maintenance etc.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in pensions administration or operational processes or wider pensions change.
- Solid understanding of operational change, business readiness, or transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of supplier management and third-party engagement.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Experience working within large-scale programme environments.
- Knowledge of master trust structures or pensions transitions is highly desirable.
