Oliver James is pleased to represent a leading consultancy offering an opportunity for a skilled pensions actuary to deepen their expertise in their market-leading Risk Settlement, GMP Equalisation, or Member Options teams.

You will work from day one within one of these specialist teams and have the chance to become an expert in a thriving area of the industry, developing a wealth of transferable skills. The company can tailor the role to suit your skills and interests, focusing on areas such as project management, process development, technical calculations, and advice, or a combination thereof.

1. Solid understanding of defined benefit pensions from a pensions actuarial, insurance, project management, or pensions administration background (seeking an actuarial role).
2. Part or fully qualified in a relevant professional qualification (e.g., APMI, FIA, etc.) or qualified by experience.
3. Ability to operate in a client-facing role and work to project deadlines.
