Pensions Administrator Newcastle upon Tyne Salary £30,000 - £34,000 + Benefits

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Pensions Administrator for a large, well-established organisation with its own in-house pensions administration team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The salary is £30,000 - £34,000 plus an annual bonus. You'll support the day-to-day running of the organisation's pension schemes, which include closed final salary sections and active money purchase sections. It's a fantastic opportunity for an accurate, proactive pensions administrator to join a supportive team and gain broad scheme experience, with full training provided in a hybrid role.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain member records on the pensions administration system and calculate a range of member benefits
• Handle member enquiries by phone and in writing, explaining pensions information clearly
• Prepare letters and keep spreadsheets accurate and up to date
• Liaise with third-party administrators and help with annual bulk member mailings
• Scan and file documents, and contribute to ad-hoc team projects

What Experience is Required

• Previous pension scheme administration experience is essential, and knowledge of Profund would be a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel and Outlook, with excellent numeracy and attention to detail
• GCSE Maths and English (grades A-C) or equivalent, plus a confident, professional telephone manner

Salary & Benefits

The salary is £30,000 - £34,000 depending on experience, plus a discretionary bonus of up to 10%. Benefits include:

Location

The role is based in Newcastle upon Tyne. It's mainly office-based, with one day a week working from home. It's easily commutable from Gateshead, North Shields, South Shields, Sunderland, Whitley Bay, Cramlington and Washington.
