PE Teacher in Barnet

We are seeking a qualified PE Teacher for an SEMH school in Barnet, starting in September 2026.

Position: PE Teacher
Location: Barnet
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Contract: Full-time / Short-term (with the potential to be extended)
Start Date: September 2026
Daily Rate: £160 - £260 per day

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching PE
• Previous experience working within an SEMH, PRU, Alternative Provision, or challenging behaviour setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
• Confident delivering practical and theory-based PE lessons
• Able to support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service
• 2-3 professional references covering a minimum of 2-3 years of employment history
• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Proof of National Insurance
• Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
