PE Electrical Engineer - Microgrid and DC Systems

Overview

Climate17 is working with the Hawaiian-arm of an international microgrid and DC technology company. We are seeking an electrical engineer with strong DC and renewables experience who would be interested in a part-time contract appointments (circa 10 hours a week) or a full-time permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to electrical design authority overseeing drawing plans, shaping a DC microgrid architecture, stamping designs and optimizing building-level DC power and efficiency.
• Work with cutting-edge systems for microgrids and smart buildings.

Engagement details

This can be a flexible engagement of around 10 hours per week, initially over a 6 month period, earning from $70-100 per hour range. It's ideal for a specialist DC engineer with microgrid, renewable energy, and/or building power experience who wants to help bring an innovative electrical system concept to life in Hawaii.

Qualifications / Remote work

Applicants with PE certification can work remotely from the mainland US, those without PE must be based on Oahu.
