Overview

A growing semiconductor business is seeking a Senior PDK Manager to take full ownership of its PDK strategy, development and release activities.

This is a standalone role, not part of a large established CAD team. The successful candidate will operate as the internal PDK authority, working cross-functionally with design and software teams while driving best practice across multiple foundries and process nodes.

This hire is business critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage PDK development, maintenance and release across multiple foundries
• Act as the primary internal PDK lead
• Develop and maintain automation using Python and SKILL
• Support analog verification flows including DRC, LVS, PEX and Dummy Fill
• Resolve front-end simulation and flow-related issues
• Implement structured version control and CI/CD processes
• Drive improvements to CAD and automation infrastructure

Required Experience

• Strong background in EDA, CAD and PDK development
• Experience working independently or in a small PDK function
• Proficiency in Python and/or SKILL
• Deep understanding of analog verification tools: DRC, LVS, PEX, Dummy Fill
• Experience across major foundries and multiple technology nodes
• Practical knowledge of analog/mixed-signal design environments
• Solid Git and automation workflow experience
