PDI Technician 6am-2:30pm

Manpower UK seeks a PDI Technician for a client based in Immingham, with work primarily at the Stallingborough port. This contract role offers up to £12.91 per hour during training. The standard shift runs Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with occasional weekend work required. Duties involve performing pre-delivery inspections, road testing, adjusting tyre pressures, fitting registration plates, and running diagnostic checks. Candidates will also handle vehicle paperwork, confirm VIN numbers, and report defects. The position is outdoors, so comfort in all weather is essential. Additional tasks include valeting, maintaining presentation standards, and moving vehicles safely. Adherence to Health and Safety rules is mandatory.

The hours of work for this role are Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm plus occasional weekends when required. The rate of pay whilst you are training is £12.91 per hour.

• Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
• Road testing
• Adjusting tyre pressure
• Inspecting on ramps
• Installing registration plates
• Using torque wrenches
• Running diagnostic checks
• Valeting and quality checks
• Handle vehicle paperwork and confirm VIN numbers
• Report any vehicle defects
• Move vehicles safely around the port
• Maintain high vehicle presentation standards
• Follow Health andamp; Safety rules
• Attend meetings and train staff as needed

• Basic computer skills
• Full clean UK driving license
• Must have your own vehicle to access the site
