Job Description
Portfolio Payroll is partnering with a highly respected manufacturing organisation that is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist on a 18 month fixed term contract. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a supportive, people focused business where accuracy, collaboration and confidentiality are genuinely valued.
Working as part of a small, close knit payroll team you'll take ownership of delivering a smooth, reliable payroll service while ensuring employees receive clear, timely support with their benefits and pay related queries.
Key Responsibilities- Managing the full payroll cycle from start to finish.
- Maintaining accurate employee data, updating records and processing changes with precision.
- Handling pay variations such as leave, absences and adjustments.
- Responding to payroll queries in a professional, supportive manner.
- Spotting and escalating issues around compliance, data quality or irregularities.
- Keeping payroll documentation organised, secure and audit ready.
- Administering employee benefits, including enrolments, leavers, changes and transfers.
- Supporting wider confidential HR and payroll administration when needed.
- Salary Up to £35,000
- Hybrid working
