Job Title: Payroll Officer

Location: Bradford (hybrid to be considered)

Salary: PAYE (Exc. Hol) £15.16; PAYE (Inc. Hol) £16.99; LTD / Umbrella £18.68

Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a local council as they look to recruit a Payroll Officer. You will be responsible for adhering to strict Payroll deadlines including processing of pay to gross and gross to net.

• Processing all payroll including salaries, bonuses, over payments and expenses.
• Advising and providing guidance on payroll matters.
• Efficiently dealing with overpayments utilising SAP.
• Offer support to Managers across the Council with pay related queries.
• Work closely with the internal recruitment teams, ensuring timely set up and pay of new starters.
• Assisting with training of staff as and when required.
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required.

• Experience of processing payroll.
• Ability to handle large amounts of data.
• Strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
