Payroll Officer

We are currently partnering with one of the UK's leading real estate firms, currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive payroll team, based at their London head office, with a hybrid working model requiring three days in the office each week.
You will play an integral role in the UK payroll team, managing multiple payrolls and supporting a diverse workforce, including employees, partners and salaried members. Acting as a key point of contact for payroll queries, you'll oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and contribute to streamlining and improving payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities- Managing end-to-end processes for starters, leavers, and employee changes
- Processing monthly payroll accurately, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions
- Preparing and checking timesheets, ensuring NLW and pension compliance for hourly staff
- Acting as a key contact for payroll queries, providing clear and timely support
- Assisting with month-end reporting and finance tasks, and covering for the Payroll Assistant when needed
- CIPP qualified
- 5+ years' experience in payroll
- Workday or SAP experience (desirable, not essential)
- Approachable, self-motivated and detail-oriented
