Payroll Manager- 2 Days Office About Your New Employer

As the Payroll Manager, youwill:
- Take full ownership of end-to-end payroll operations for 3,000+ employees across Ireland, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery across multiple payroll groups and entities.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Irish payroll legislation, Revenue requirements, and complex payroll scenarios.
- Oversee all facets of payroll, including salary, overtime, bonuses, shift allowances, benefit-in-kind, pension, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure compliance with PAYE Modernisation, tax, social insurance, and all local statutory requirements.
- Develop and mentor payroll specialists, set performance standards, and deliver exceptional service to stakeholders and employees.
- Lead payroll process improvements, systems enhancements (including Sage Payroll), and drive automation initiatives.
- Minimum 7 years of payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a payroll leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record managing payroll for 3,000+ employees in Ireland, with significant Sage Payroll expertise.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, Revenue compliance, and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
- Experience managing payroll audits and continuous process improvements.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with multinational/matrix organisations is an advantage.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Flexible working model - 1-2 days in office (Letterkenny, Dublin, or Derry), with the remainder remote.
