Payroll Manager

Full-time/ Permanent
You will oversee the full payroll cycle, manage a small team and provide expert guidance on pay matters. The role involves ensuring compliance with legislation, maintaining strong controls and driving ongoing improvements across processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the payroll team
- Deliver accurate and compliant payrolls on schedule
- Manage complex payroll queries and provide expert advice
- Oversee processing of all pay elements and statutory payments
- Maintain reconciliations, reporting and statutory submissions
- Support system improvements and payroll related projects
- Strong experience in end-to-end payroll
- Proven background in leading a payroll team
- Good knowledge of payroll legislation and employment law
- Confident user of payroll systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Clear communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships
