Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for a short-term opportunity with a fast-paced and reputable company in Darlington? Hays are recruiting for a
Temporary Payroll Officer to support a busy period, managing a large and varied portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end payroll processing for a diverse client base
• Ensuring compliance with HMRC legislation and statutory requirements
• Administering pension contributions and auto-enrolment duties
• Handling and resolving customer queries with professionalism and accuracy
• Collaborating with internal teams to maintain smooth payroll operations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in payroll, ideally within a multi-client or bureau environment
• Strong understanding of current HMRC regulations and pension schemes
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Immediate availability
