Payroll Advisor

Job Summary

Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a Manufacturer based in Warrington who are looking for a Payroll Advisor to join them on a Permanent basis.

Key Duties/Tasks

• To provide comprehensive advice to customers and directors in relation to payroll queries
• Support the processing and running of the end to end weekly payroll
• Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers
• Ensuring current payroll legislation knowledge is up to date and in line with HMRC, with procedures updated accordingly.
• Strong Excel

The role

• Payroll Advisor to process a weekly payroll from start to finish across multiple sites
• Set up and pay new starters
• Process leavers and applicable termination payments
• Calculate Redundancy payments
• Calculate and pay SMP, SPP, SSP and sick pay
• Deal with payroll queries
