Payments Specialist - Paris

A fantastic client of ours is seeking a French Speaking Payments Specialist to join them on an initial 3 month duration for a large Payments Platform Transformation project. The role is that of a hybrid nature therefore the Payments Specialist will need to be residing within Paris, or closely surrounding areas.

Our client requires someone that understands the full payment process life cycle including; payment processing, acquiring, chargebacks, fraud, PCI/DSS, PSD2 and disputes for the implementation of a brand new payment platform.

Whilst we are looking for someone with very good experience of the end to end payment process, the candidate should be able to demonstrate very good knowledge and experience surrounding acquiring services.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the Programme Director, key internal stakeholders and will be responsible for the following;

• Lead on the scoping phase of the Payments platform initiative, defining objectives and deliverables while serving as the primary project contact.
• Design the overall structure of the Payments program by; identifying key stakeholders, establishing governance, reporting frameworks, defining roles/responsibilities and communication flows.
• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the existing Payments landscape within the MVP scope, identifying current services, system limitations, operational constraints, and dependencies with other banking systems.
• Lead feasibility assessments for introducing new self-care services, including virtual IBANs, digital cards, and other innovative payment functionalities.

The Payments Specialist should be able to support from a PMO perspective and hold experience of working within Agile and Waterfall Project Methodologies.
