Payments Analyst

Reed Banking and Financial Services is working with a leading loan and bond agency in their search for a Payments Analyst. This is a 6 month temporary position that also has the opportunity to convert to a permanent contract. Therefore, please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short notice.

This role is a dedicated member of the payments team, and will work closely with Operations, Middle Office and Transaction teams. You will be ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all payments related to deal closing and ongoing services.

Duties to include:

• Checking payment files
• Managing ad-hoc/ unscheduled payments
• Ensure payments are released prior to cut off time
• Responding to banking payment queries
• Tracking and monitoring payments from start to finish
• Keep up to date with SWIFT

Ideally we are looking to speak to professionals with the below experience

• 2-3 years experience in a payments role in a financial services environment
• Good knowledge of SWIFT
• Strong excel skills

This role is a hybrid working role, 2 -3 days a week in the office the rest working from home.
