A supportive and forward thinking secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a committed Pastoral Officer to support student wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement across the school. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference to young people's lives.

The Role

• Provide day to day pastoral support to students, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing
• Monitor attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding concerns, supporting early intervention
• Work closely with teaching staff, Heads of Year, SENCo, parents, and external agencies
• Support vulnerable students, including those with SEND and SEMH needs
• Contribute to a positive school culture and improved student engagement

The Ideal Candidate

• Have experience in a pastoral, safeguarding, or student support role within a secondary school
• Be confident supporting students with behavioural, emotional, or complex needs
• Demonstrate strong communication, organisation, and relationship building skills
