M-Files is looking for a talented and motivated Partner Manager to help us enable and continue developing our partner ecosystem in the UK and Ireland.

As an M-Files Partner Manager, you will play a critical role in driving our success through the growth of our indirect sales channel. You will need to grasp the fundamentals of the M-Files document management software, have an outgoing personality and professional approach that will enable you to build relationships with prospective resellers, sign them as formal partners, and help support the continued development of our partners' M-Files business practices.


Your primary day-to-day tasks will consist of:

  • Identifying, recruiting, and on-boarding new resellers to fill vertical or geographic gaps in the UK and Ireland.
  • Actively engaging with current and potential reseller partners including regular partner site visits and assistance in customer meetings when needed.
  • Working closely with newly recruited resellers and conducting sales trainings to quickly enable their sales staffs to be M-Files sales ready.
  • Creating objectives & strategies which will contribute to the overall business plan to achieve territory goals.
  • Driving the creation and execution of quarterly and annual business/marketing plans to develop territory business.
  • Answering product line questions from both a technology and licensing perspective.
  • Managing lead flow in concert with partners and M-Files marketing team.
  • Working cross functionally with counterparts on M-Files Sales and Marketing Teams.
  • Attending partner events to represent M-Files, and or present M-Files to both partners and end customers of managed partners/resellers.
  • Working in an international environment where the business language is English, and the team is widely spread throughout Europe.


Who you are:

  • Someone with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience as listed below
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a technology-centric environment, background in technical software sales highly preferred
  • Business development experience working with and/or managing channel partners in software or other related industry
  • Ideally proven experience in developing partner sales in the assigned regional area
  • Documented history of developing and managing a sales pipeline and achieving sales quotas.
  • Proven ability to communicate product strengths/benefits with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong people skills and an ability to listen to partners and customers and translate their needs into actionable pre-sales tasks and new business proposals.
  • Ability to overcome objections and challenges on phone and in meetings.
  • Experience using and maintaining accurate data in a CRM system.
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based environments and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with document/enterprise content management systems a big plus.
