Recruitment Consultant - Strategy Consultant at Barrington James

Shape the future of patient access and drive strategic decisions that determine which therapies reach the people who need them most

As a Senior Partner, you will lead the firm's Market Access practice in the Netherlands, shape strategic client relationships, and drive business growth. You will advise senior executives on critical market access and reimbursement strategies, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and set the vision for the practice. This is a role for a leader with a strong combination of strategic insight, market access expertise, and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior management of pharmaceutical, biotech, and MedTech clients.
• Lead the design and execution of high-value market access strategies, pricing, and reimbursement frameworks.
• Provide thought leadership on HTA, payer dynamics, and healthcare policy developments.
• Represent the firm externally at conferences, industry forums, and stakeholder events.

Practice Development & Growth

• Define and execute the strategic vision for the Netherlands Market Access practice.
• Drive business development, including identifying new opportunities, building client pipelines, and supporting proposals.
• Mentor senior and engagement-level staff, shaping career paths and fostering talent development.
• Contribute to firm-wide strategy and thought leadership initiatives, including publications, white papers, and frameworks.

Project Oversight & Delivery Excellence

• Oversee multiple large-scale client engagements, ensuring quality, strategic impact, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure analytical rigor and actionable insights across workstreams.
• Guide engagement managers and senior consultants in complex problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery.
