A fabulous part time housekeeping position has become available, looking after the home of a friendly family of four in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. This role will suit someone who is organised, dedicated, and passionate about maintaining high standards in a warm and friendly home environment.

The hours of the role will be Monday to Friday, 10.00-15.00 (25 hours/week). The exact timings can be discussed to suit the candidate.

Key responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen
• Organising cupboards and wardrobe management
• Household laundry and ironing
• Organising groceries and household supplies
• Preparing a family friendly dinner each day
• Receiving deliveries and liaising with contractors
• Performing other ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of the household
• Running errands (post office, dry cleaning, etc)

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as a housekeeper
• A hardworking, proactive, and highly organised approach
• Trustworthiness, reliability, and discretion
• Empathy and a caring nature
• Fluency in English and full rights to work in the UK
• Their own fully insured car, with a clean driving licence (duty mileage to be paid)

Location of the job: Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Minimum experience Level for this job: Three years

Details of any training needed for this job: Enhanced DBS (update) and First Aid

Details of any qualifications needed for this job: None, but proven experience essential

Days and Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 10.00-15.00 (25 hours/week)

Pets in the home: One small friendly dog

Driving required: Yes - own fully insured car required. Duty mileage will be paid

Pay: £26,000 gross per annum / mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £20 gross per hour (If self-employed, which is preferred, the salary will be £23 net per hour)
