Job Description

Venn Group is delighted to be partnered with a UK-based charity to recruit a detail-oriented Finance Officer on a part-time, temporary basis. In this role, you will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage the purchase ledger process, ensuring all transactions are accurate and compliant
  • Review, code, and process invoices efficiently, resolving any discrepancies
  • Prepare and execute biweekly payment runs, maintaining accurate records
  • Handle bank payments and perform regular reconciliations
  • Maintain financial records using Sage 200 and support reporting as required
  • Assist with audit queries and compliance checks
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth financial operations

Ideal candidate profile:

  • Proven experience in purchase ledger and accounts payable processes
  • Experience using Sage 200 accounting system
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small team
  • Experience working in the charity sector (desirable)

Location: Central London

Duration: 3 month contract, subject to further extension

Pay rate: £160 - £180 per day (Umbrella)

Working hours: Part-time (21 hours - 3 days)

Working pattern: Hybrid (1 day per week on-site)

Start date: ASAP
