Part Time Contracts and Compliance Administrator

The Opportunity
A growing and successful SME is looking to appoint a Contracts & Compliance Administrator to provide vital administrative support across the business. This is a varied role that combines contract administration, compliance coordination, reporting and general business support.
Working closely with senior management, you will help ensure contracts, documentation and compliance requirements are effectively managed while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.
This position would suit an organised and detail-focused administrator who enjoys working across multiple areas and taking ownership of processes.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts Administration
- Prepare, format and maintain customer and supplier contracts.
- Monitor contract renewal dates and ensure timely action is taken.
- Maintain accurate records of agreements, schedules and key documentation.
- Assist with contract amendments, extensions and updates.
- Track contractual obligations and support managers with contract-related administration.
Compliance & Governance
- Maintain company compliance records and databases.
- Monitor expiry dates for licences, certifications, insurances and accreditations.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure documentation is complete and stored in accordance with company procedures.
- Support the implementation of business policies and internal controls.
- Liaise with external providers and regulatory bodies where required.
Administration & Business Support
- Produce reports and management information from company systems.
- Handle incoming enquiries and direct them appropriately.
- Support onboarding administration for new employees and contractors.
- Coordinate documentation for suppliers, customers and business partners.
- Assist with process improvements and administrative projects.
- Provide general office support to the wider team as required.
About You
We would be interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Previous experience in administration, contracts administration, compliance or business support.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience maintaining records and managing documentation.
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.
- Experience within a compliance, contracts, operations or office management environment would be advantageous.
What's on Offer?
- Salary of £40,000 to £47,000 pro rata
- 4 days on site reduced hours 9 - 3pm
