Part-Time Cleaner

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Cleaner on behalf of a Housing Association covering two sites in the Shipston-on-Stour area. This is an initial 12-week temporary contract providing sickness absence cover, with the potential for extension.

Pay & Hours

• Rate of Pay: £13.92 per hour
• Hours: 25 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Duties

The role involves cleaning communal areas only across both Housing Association sites, ensuring shared spaces are maintained to a high standard for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities will include:

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming communal areas
• Cleaning communal kitchens, hallways, and shared facilities
• Dusting and sanitising surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable and punctual with a good attention to detail
• A Basic DBS check is required for this position
