Blue Arrow a proud to be working with a reputable Schools and Care homes in Matlock who are now seeking a Catering Assistant to support their kitchen on a part-time basis.

An enhanced child and Adult DBS dated will be required due to the setting of this role, however if you do not have one, we are able to assist with this for the right candidate at a cost.

Job duties

Job duties aren't limited to the following for a Catering Assistant:

• Supporting the kitchen with their preparation of dishes
• Keeping kitchen stations etc. clean in line with health and safety policies
• Serving food items to children and staff
• Handling any payments for meals and recognising free school dinners etc.
• Cleaning canteen tables as you go, ready for the next group of children/staff

• Is outgoing and able to build a rapport with students and other staff member

• An enhanced child and Adult DBS
• Able to commit to part-time hours ongoing
