Job Description

My market leading Altrincham based client, are looking to recruit initially on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract basis, a Customer Experience & Sales Administration Executive

As the business continues to grow, my client is looking for a sharp, friendly, and organised individual to be the first point of contact for their customers, someone who enjoys speaking to people, takes pride in great service, and can confidently support customers from first enquiry through to order.

  • Salary: £25k - £30k FTE (Take home £16,666 - £20,000)
  • Working Hours: 25 hours per week - Monday to Friday 09:30 - 15:00

As Customer Experience & Sales Administration Executive, you'll be the voice of my client. Your day will be split across phone, email, website chat, and social channels, ensuring customers feel looked after, sample requests are followed up properly, and orders are processed smoothly.This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys juggling tasks, speaking with customers, and working as part of a growing commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service (approx. 40%)

  • Answer inbound phone calls from homeowners, trade customers, and general enquiries.
  • Respond to customer emails and website chat enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Resolve order queries, delivery questions and returns issues.

Sales Support (approx. 30%)

  • Proactively follow up sample requests by phone within 48 hours of dispatch
  • Qualify customer projects, answer questions, and guide customers towards ordering.
  • Process phone orders and take card payments via Shopify.

Social Media Administration (approx. 25%)

  • Schedule weekly Instagram and Pinterest posts using supplied content.
  • Respond to Instagram DMs and comments in brand voice.
  • Flag content opportunities such as customer photos or project installs.

General Administration (approx. 5%)

  • Light admin and ad-hoc support tasks as required.

Specification

  • Have a confident, warm, and professional phone manner, write clearly, politely, and accurately, even when busy.
  • Are comfortable taking card payments and using systems like Shopify (or can learn quickly)
  • Have experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, inside sales or e-commerce admin.
  • Experience scheduling or managing social media (Instagram, Pinterest, Canva)
