Paraplanner
Cheltenham Hybrid Up to £40,000
If you are an experienced Paraplanner who enjoys getting into the technical detail of complex financial planning cases, this role offers the opportunity to work with high-net-worth clients and be closely involved throughout the advice process.
You will join an established independent financial planning practice where you can work closely with advisers, administrators and fellow paraplanners, with exposure to a broad range of planning areas rather than being limited to straightforward report writing.
The Business
This is a growing and ambitious financial planning and wealth management business with a strong focus on delivering high quality advice and an exceptional client experience.
The firm is investing heavily in technology, operational efficiency and the long term development of its people. It is building a modern advice business designed to make financial planning more accessible, efficient and valuable for clients, while also creating a supportive and progressive environment for staff.
This is an opportunity to join a business that is continuing to evolve, where administration is seen as a key part of delivering excellent outcomes for both clients and advisers.
The Role
Working as a Paraplanner, you will support Financial Planners in delivering high-quality, compliant financial advice and first-class outcomes for clients.
This is a broad and hands-on role. Responsibilities will include conducting detailed research, analysing clients' existing arrangements, preparing cash-flow forecasts and producing clear and comprehensive suitability reports. You will assess a range of pensions, investments, protection and tax-planning solutions, liaise with providers and other third parties, maintain accurate records on internal systems and help ensure planners are fully prepared for client meetings.
You will also respond to technical queries, help progress cases through the advice process, resolve outstanding issues and identify opportunities to improve internal processes and client outcomes. Previous paraplanning experience within financial planning or wealth management will be important, along with strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively. Experience using industry platforms, back-office systems and cash-flow modelling software would be beneficial, and progress towards-or completion of-a Level 4 financial planning qualification would be preferred.
