Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

A growing and well-established Independent Financial Planning firm in Devon is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to support its expanding team of advisers.

You will be working directly with advisers to support the delivery of high-quality financial advice to clients.

As Paraplanner, you will provide technical and research support to the advisers and assist in the preparation of client recommendations.

Typical duties will include:

• Conducting product and provider research
• Preparing suitability reports and recommendations
• Supporting advisers with technical queries and case preparation
• Preparing client documentation and meeting packs
• Assisting with client reviews and ongoing advice work
• Liaising with providers and internal staff to progress cases

The firm is ideally looking for an experienced Paraplanner, although they would also consider a highly experienced Financial Services Administrator looking to step up into a paraplanning role.

You will likely have:

• Previous experience working within an IFA / Financial Planning firm
• Strong understanding of financial planning products and advice processes
• Holding the level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• The ability to work closely with advisers in a fast-paced environment
