Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Legal team in London on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Legal team is an external and internal-facing function which supports all aspects of the business across all nine of our offices. As a Paralegal, you will grow and develop within a high-performing team and within a high-growth commercial environment. This is an ideal role for someone who's keen to gain legal experience while having direct access and exposure to the commercial and organisational workings of a dynamic, innovative global business.

The Legal team supports all offices worldwide, giving this role true international exposure.

What You'll Do

You will have a broad range of work, including:

  • Assisting with client and supply chain requests, including executing markups and conducting initial contract review - giving you exposure to contract review and drafting;
  • Managing ongoing client and supply chain contracting processes to help the team meet deadlines and actively manage internal and external stakeholders;
  • Developing and maintaining a legal document system and assisting with migrating our documents to related technology platforms;
  • Establishing and implementing online learning materials on digital platforms for the benefit of global users;
  • Collaborating with the legal team and other specialist functions on a wide variety of ad hoc projects in areas such as KYC/compliance, financing, data privacy, IP and corporate governance;
  • Day-to-day tasks ranging from monitoring and maintaining playbooks, trackers and agendas to document processing tasks; and
  • Conducting legal research, internal policy drafting and training materials.

All of the above at a global scale with multi-jurisdictional challenges in a fast-paced company.

Who You Are

An ideal candidate would possess the following:

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Time management and prioritisation skills; ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment with competing demands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels by video, phone, and email
  • A proactive nature and ability to push forward with tasks and ensure timely and satisfactory delivery
  • Agile mindset to execute on numerous workstreams within the same timeframe
  • Emotional intelligence and exceptional team playing skills- ability to build relationships within the Legal team and work effectively with other stakeholders
  • BA/BS/LLB from a top university (ideally you will have also completed the GDL or LPC but this not a prerequisite)
  • Previous experience working as a paralegal is desirable (or, other experience working in a law firm or in-house or equivalent in your jurisdiction), but not necessary
  • Fluency in English (foreign language skills are also a plus)
