Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

We are recruiting on behalf of a top-tier law firm for a Paralegal to join their well-established Housing Disrepair team based in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for a Law graduate to gain hands on experience within a dynamic legal environment that is recognised by the Legal 500.

• Reviewing initial claim documentation and triage reports

• Taking initial client instructions over the phone

• Identifying files to be progressed or rejected

• Handling incoming and outgoing post, emails, and routine client calls

• Liaising with surveyors and external experts

• Responding to queries from clients and referral partners

• Supporting the wider legal team with administrative and legal tasks under supervision

• Performing any other duties as reasonably requested by the Partners

• Law graduate (LLB or equivalent)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities using digital case management systems

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• Reliable, proactive, and professional with strong interpersonal skills

• High level of discretion when handling confidential information
