The Role

• Carry out planned and reactive painting and decorating across the prison
• Maintain tools, materials and equipment
• Work safely in line with H&S procedures
• Support prisoners through painting/decorating tasks (CRED programme - extra pay available)

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating
• Experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of H&S and safe working practices
• Comfortable working in a secure environment alongside, and supervising, prisoners
• Team player who shares knowledge and best practice

Prison Security clearance + standard DBS required (fully supported by Amey).
