Job Title: Painter and Decorator

Rate of Pay: £15.00 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 39 hours

Location: Mitie, Faraday Mill Business Park, Unit 52-53, Faraday Road, Plymouth, Devon, England, PL4 0ST

We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to carry out internal and external painting and decorating works in and around Plymouth.

You'll be erecting access equipment as required, with appropriate training and all necessary access plant and temporary screening as and when required to protect the environment and people. You will ensure all works are carried out to a high standard and all painting and decorating equipment is kept clean.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised qualification or have a minimum of 5 years checkable experience in Painting and preferably has served a recognised apprenticeship. You'll be organised, self motivated and have good communication and customer service skills.

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating requirements as instructed to a high standard
• To carry out preparation works to walls to make good ready for decoration.
• Minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting.
