About the Role

The Painter is a valued member of the Operations division, delivering a high-quality service to our clients.

As the Painter you will undertake various painting and decorating maintenance works including internal and external painting of domestic properties, varnishing and sealing finishes, surface preparation, minor plaster patching prior to decoration, and application of specialist coatings where required.

The post holder will be responsible for carrying out works from start to completion, providing excellent customer service to tenants and clients throughout. This position may require collaboration with other trades to ensure the successful completion of property maintenance works within agreed timescales. The successful candidate must adhere to all relevant building standards and health and safety legislation, ensuring work is carried out safely and respectfully within tenants' homes. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is essential.

What You Will Bring

You will be an experienced Painter with an SVQ in Painting and Decorating.

As the Painter you will demonstrate a customer-focused and proactive approach, representing City Building professionally while delivering excellent standards of service.

You will have the ability to use your initiative to resolve issues promptly, whilst also contributing effectively as part of a multi trade team when required.

You will be a strong communicator as you will regularly liaise with your manager and the team about access issues, delays, or other challenges.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
