Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, the Media Specialist plays a key role in shaping and executing Red Bull paid media strategies across all channels in Spain. This role ensures the brand reaches its audiences effectively and innovatively, driving awareness, relevance, and engagement in line with the business priorities.
Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Media Planning
- Define and lead 360º media strategies that align with Red Bull's brand priorities and audience insights.
- Plan and oversee integrated campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels, ensuring maximum impact and consistency.
- Be the main contact with HQ Media counterpart, in order to adapt global strategies to the local market, ensuring brand coherence and effectiveness.
Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Drive end-to-end campaign management from briefing through execution and post-campaign analysis.
- Monitor real-time performance, leveraging data to continuously optimize media efficiency and effectiveness.
- Champion test-and-learn approaches to foster innovation and improve results.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Manage media agency relationships to ensure high performance, strong collaboration, and strategic alignment, as well as key relevant media partners
- Challenge and validate media recommendations, securing best-in-class delivery and cost efficiency.
- Act as an internal expert to marketing team in general and brand team in particular, on media trends and opportunities.
Market Insights & Innovation
- Utilize research, audience data, and competitive intelligence to inform planning and decision-making.
- Identify and integrate relevant media innovations to maintain brand relevance and leadership.
- Ensure local execution reflects Red Bull's positioning while incorporating insights from HQ and international benchmarks.
Qualifications
4-5+ years of experience in media planning and buying within FMCG, with experience in Media Agency strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of digital and traditional media landscape in Spain.
Proven ability to manage complex campaigns across multiple touchpoints.
Experience with media analytics, KPIs, and performance tracking.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Confident in agency and stakeholder management.
Experience working with large media budgets and investment strategies.
Fluency in media tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Business, Nielsen, etc.).
Creative and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
