An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional candidate to join the Administration team as a Senior Administrator/PA. The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to Consultant Clinical Geneticists and Genetic Counsellors.
You will need to be able to work well under pressure and cope with conflicting demands, while possessing excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word is essential. The post-holder must demonstrate an ability to communicate well, work as part of a team and contribute to the wider clinical administration team.
Main duties of the jobCandidates will be self motivated and possess an RSA II qualification (or equivalent) along with an AMSPAR certificate or comparable administration experience. You will enjoy working within a multi disciplinary team and have the ability to relate to children, parents, other family members and medical professionals, complemented by excellent organisational and communication skills.

Person Specification Qualifications- Educated to GCSE Grade C English Standard or equivalent
- Educated to GCSE Grade C Maths Standard or equivalent
- Formal Administration / Secretarial Qualification NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience
- Experience of delivering a high standard of customer care
- Proven administration experience within Genetics
- PA experience
