An established and forward-thinking accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an Outsourcing Manager to join its growing team in Sheffield.

This is a high-visibility role offering the opportunity to act as a trusted adviser to SME and OMB clients, lead a small team, and gain broad exposure across outsourced finance, cloud accounting, and advisory services.

This opportunity is ideal for a qualified accountant with portfolio management experience who is looking to move beyond day-to-day delivery into a consultative, client-facing management role

The Role

As Outsourcing Manager, you will play a key role within a tech-enabled, agile team, working closely with Partners and Directors while supporting a varied SME/OMB client base.

Key responsibilities include:

Acting as a trusted adviser to clients, providing proactive outsourced finance support and insights

Managing and developing relationships across a diverse SME/OMB portfolio

Leading and supporting client meetings with a consultative, value-led approach

Delivering tech-focused finance solutions, using cloud accounting systems and automation tools

Contributing to finance and tax-adjacent advisory projects

Working closely with senior managers and advisors across the wider firm

Leading, coaching, and supporting a small team of trainees

Candidate Profile

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)

Experience managing a portfolio of clients

Strong technical accounting knowledge

Confident building long-term client and internal relationships
