Outdoor Learning Lead - Primary Teacher / Teaching Assistant

Choice Teachers are recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Newham for an Outdoor Learning Lead, suitable for a Primary Teacher or experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for outdoor education.

The role involves leading OPAL and Forest School provision, developing outdoor learning spaces, delivering enrichment activities and clubs, and supporting staff to embed outdoor learning across the curriculum. Strong safeguarding, health & safety, and inclusive practice are essential.

Key Requirements

• Experience in outdoor learning (Forest School, OPAL or similar)
• Relevant education or childcare qualification
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and outdoor health & safety
• Forest School and First Aid qualifications (desirable)
