About the Team:

Media sales at native. occupies a unique place in the market. We hold exclusive relationships for university campus media inventory across the UK, and can address the 2.86m students in the UK market.

We are uniquely positioned to manage the blend of local, regional and national advertising selling both directly to clients and via agencies and media buying groups. We combine the scale of a national footprint with the opportunity to reach specially selected student populations, with tailored advertising propositions which enable brands to make major impacts.

Overview

We are looking for ambitious and results-driven Sales Executives to join our outbound sales team. You will play a pivotal role in connecting local and regional advertisers with student fairs by identifying and engaging potential clients. We've run similar fairs for many years with great success, and are now looking to expand our offering across the full academic year. This is a demanding yet rewarding role, offering clear goals and opportunities for professional growth and commercial success!

What you will be doing:

  1. Lead Sourcing: Proactively source leads from local and regional businesses within the local area of each fair location.
  2. Lead Outreach: Conduct outbound calls and follow-up emails to potential clients, offering them opportunities to attend student fairs.
  3. Pitching and Negotiation: Use pre-prepared scripts and frameworks to effectively communicate value propositions, handle objections, and close sales.
  4. Target Achievement: Meet or exceed individual and team KPIs, including revenue and conversion targets.
  5. Sales Management: Accurately log interactions and updates in the system(s) provided to ensure data integrity and seamless follow-ups.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Team Lead and peers to share insights and strategies for overcoming challenges and achieving goals.

What you'll need:

  1. We're after someone who thrives in a buzzing, high-energy environment and is hungry to make an impact.
  2. Experience in outbound sales or a similar target-driven role.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Resilience and a positive attitude, with the ability to handle rejection professionally.
  5. Strong organisational skills to manage follow-ups and prioritise tasks effectively.
  6. Proficiency in spreadsheets, data-entry tools, and sales performance tracking software. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM or Salesforce is a bonus.

Base Salary: £25,400 OTE £35,000 uncapped
