Organizational Change Manager

For our client, a large Belgian IT services provider supporting critical national infrastructure, we are hiring a Senior SAP Organisational Change Manager to lead change efforts in a major S/4HANA migration project.
About the Role:
You will support the project core team during the preparatory phase of a large-scale S/4HANA migration that impacts multiple business units. You'll be responsible for shaping and executing the change and communication strategy, embedding change management best practices, and supporting both internal teams and external implementation partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Organisational Change Leadership
- Provide hands-on coaching and support to team leads through to executives
- Lead and continuously improve change management methodologies
- Define and implement the overall change strategy (high-level and operational)
- Support project teams in integrating change activities into their plans
- Develop and implement communication and change plans during the initial phase
- Oversee and guide change managers from external implementation partners
Stakeholder & Risk Management
- Conduct and validate impact and stakeholder analyses
- Monitor and mitigate resistance and change-related risks
- Collaborate with project and partner teams to resolve issues and escalate when needed
- Evaluate organisational readiness and guide partners through change execution
Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Define learning strategies (e-learning, classroom, coaching) based on project/user needs
- Develop, review, and deliver training materials and support knowledge sharing
- Coordinate with internal knowledge management for documentation and publication
- Support internal trainers and coach authors in course development
Communication
- Design and roll out communication campaigns to support change
- Draft communications related to process improvements, incidents, system changes, and go-lives
- Align messaging with internal communication experts and ensure high quality standards
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the development of documentation and training strategies (SAP and non-SAP)
- Propose and implement improvement initiatives for communication, training, and staffing
- Capture and document lessons learned and ensure smooth handover to support teams
Requirements:
- Languages: Excellent command of Dutch, French, and English (written and spoken)
- Experience:
- 5+ years in change management within SAP transformation programs (minimum 3 domains such as HRM, Finance, SCM, CRM, Procurement, IT)
- 3+ years working in large enterprises and/or public sector environments
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ADKAR methodology
Location: Hybrid (onsite presence in Belgium expected during key phases)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term contract
