Organisational Interface Manager - DSAT

Our client, a leading defence & aerospace company, is seeking an Organisational Interface Manager to support their programme in the deployment and delivery of courseware and media.

Organisational Interface Manager - Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT)

Location: Remote with adhoc site visits to Reading as required

Duration: 6-12 months (maternity leave cover)

The Manager will develop strategies and solutions to address challenges in the delivery of courseware and media. You will collaborate with the Programme Manager and other team leaders to ensure that courseware and media can be effectively delivered across the Customer training estate and Learning Environment (LE) Learning Management System (LMS).

The role involves site visits and establishing relationships with system owners across the training estate to identify and resolve potential delivery challenges.

Main Duties include:

1. Analyzing, designing, and producing DSAT Courseware and Media for delivery across training sites and organizations.
2. Collaborating with the customer, agents, and suppliers to identify necessary technical data for programme delivery.
3. Engaging with SMEs to gather technical data and participating in workshops to discuss findings.
4. Developing and leading the implementation of delivery solutions, including IT and infrastructure.
5. Auditing IT infrastructure to ensure alignment with delivery policies and implementing necessary solutions.
6. Promoting a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.
7. Performing any other duties necessary to complete the CMDC Training Service.

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills at all levels, both internally and with the customer organization.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive research skills to understand IT system requirements.
• Knowledge of creating and integrating IT infrastructure systems on-premises and distributed environments.
• Experience working within a team.
• Experience installing and implementing IT systems on-premises and distributed.

Preferred Experience:

• Understanding of complex IT infrastructure used in modern training delivery, including on-premises, LE, and LMS.
• Experience designing IT systems for networked delivery of training solutions.
