Oracle GL Functional Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion GL Functional Consultant with strong hands-on experience in configuring and supporting the Oracle General Ledger (GL) module within Oracle ERP Financials Cloud.

The consultant will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements, design functional solutions, support testing and deliver changes as part of finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support the Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) module.
• Configure and maintain Chart of Accounts structures.
• Configure and support journal processing.
• Configure GL allocations and related processes.
• Support account reconciliation processes.
• Support financial reporting requirements.
• Gather and analyse finance and business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into Oracle Fusion GL solutions.
• Support functional testing, UAT and issue resolution.
• Work with technical teams on integrations and functional changes where required.
• Support Oracle ERP Financials Cloud implementation and transformation activities.
• Provide ongoing functional support and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on Oracle Fusion GL experience.
• Experience configuring the Oracle General Ledger module.
• Strong knowledge of Chart of Accounts.
• Experience with journals and journal processing.
• Experience with GL allocations.
• Experience with account reconciliation processes.
• Experience with financial reporting in Oracle Fusion.
• Requirements gathering and functional solution design.
• Functional testing and UAT support.
• Strong finance stakeholder engagement.
• Oracle ERP Financials Cloud experience.

Contract Details

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Remote within the UK

Travel: Some travel to Edinburgh/Glasgow may be required.
