Oracle Exadata Specialist

Oracle Exadata Specialist vacancy for our Zürich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Being responsible for Architecture & Design including Exadata capacity planning
• Taking over DR with (Active) Data Guard
• Working on Backup/restore via RMAN
• Being responsible for Leverage Smart Scan, HCC, IORM and Upgrades/migrations (Data Guard)
• Helping with Tuning with AWR/ASH and SQL
• Taking over Capacity management as well as incident/change per ITIL

Your experience/knowledge:

• 7+ years Oracle DBA/Engineering, 3+ years with Exadata
• Deep expertise: RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning
• Hands-on with Exadata X Series, Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, HCC
• Experience with patch/life cycle management
• Strong Linux administration skills
• HA/DR design and exercises know-how
• OEM/monitoring proficiency
• Language skills: English - fluent, German - conversational
