Oracle DB Architect

Our client is seeking an Oracle DB Architect with experience working on projects migrating to Azure to join their team for a freelance B2B contract with an initial contract of 6 months, with potential for additional extensions. This position is remote with some on-site obligations

• Languages: English AND German or French

Must have skills

• 8 Years of experience working as an Oracle DB Architect or SME
• Strong expertise in Oracle DB (11gR2, 12c, 19c) architecture and engineering, especially on Exadata platforms (X7 or later).
• Deep understanding of RAC, Data Guard, ASM, multitenancy, and performance tuning.
• Experience architecting solutions on Exadata X-9/X-11 and cloud platforms (Azure, OCI).
• Familiarity with Azure networking, security, and governance models.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive architectural decisions.
• Knowledge of Oracle licensing and cost optimization strategies is a plus
