Oracle Data Engineer - SQ, PL/SQL

Oracle Data Engineer - SQL, PL/SQL vacancy for our Zürich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Oracle database.
• Monitor daily data jobs, perform root cause analysis on failures, and ensure timely resolution.
• Optimise SQL and PL/SQL logic for performance, readability, and scalability.
• Implement data validation routines and contribute to improving overall data quality, accuracy and reliability.
• Support the integration of Apache Airflow (developing and testing of DAGs).

Your experience/knowledge:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL working on Oracle databases (development-focused, not DBA).
• Experience in data engineering: ETL design, pipeline development, and process automation.
• Experience in integrating Apache Airflow, DAG development.
• Background in private banking with understanding of client, account, and transactional data models.
• Language skills: English fluent
