What You'll Need to Succeed
We're looking for enthusiastic optometrists with strong experience in a high street or busy practice setting. You should be confident in delivering excellent, comprehensive patient care and thrive in a collaborative environment.
You will:
- Deliver clinical care in line with professional standards, routine refractions including anterior and posterior eye health assessment (including Volk), and appropriate prescribing
- Recognise and manage pathology in accordance with local protocols and guidelines
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients - including when delivering sensitive news
- Maintain accurate and professional clinical records
- Adhere to CORU and Specsavers Standards of Practice
- Be passionate about continued learning and professional development
- Support and collaborate with colleagues, contributing to team development to deliver exceptional patient care
English Language Proficiency:To ensure effective communication with patients and colleagues, a minimum of IELTS Level 7.0 is required
