We are looking for a passionate individual to work in the National Counter Trafficking Centre. Barnardo's National Counter Trafficking Centre runs services across England and Wales. This includes the Independent Child Trafficking Guardianship Service, a statutory provision set out in Section 48 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We are recruiting to the role of Supervisor to work within our National Operations Team. The role will be Home Based with the requirement for occassional travel across our delivery sites to meet with our team. Due to the nature of the work you must be able to identify a confidential space for you to carry out your day to day work.
Our Operations Team consists of a team of business support colleagues who oversee all our financial procedures, procurement, recruitment of staff, maintenance of service resources, quality assurance and account management. Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Line management for up to 8 direct reports , with a focus on continuous development; managing personal supervision and reviews alongside the effective management of sickness and performance.
- Contributing to work relating to finance monitoring and reporting
- Oversight of the coordination of core Operations team support functions such as staff recruitment, staff training programme, external awareness raising programme, management of service resources, agreements with external providers
- Supporting compliance with Barnardo's audit processes (health & safety, data reporting etc)
