Reporting to the PUD Manager, you will oversee fleet operations, ensuring safety, performance, resourcing, and compliance across your team. A key part of the role is coordinating daily activities, and leading people to deliver excellent outcomes for our customers.Full-time Mon-Fri, 5:30am-1:30pm (hours may vary with notice, including coverage for staff leave and peak periods such as Christmas) Key Responsibilities Supervise daily fleet operations to achieve KPIs and maintain customer service standards Manage labour, equipment, and resources cost-effectively without compromising safety Lead and support drivers and contractors, including toolbox talks, debriefs, and compliance checks Ensure compliance with fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility, and load restraint requirements Monitor driver delivery and pick-up duties, ensuring MDT compliance and accurate POD completion Provide visible leadership, coaching, and feedback to maintain high team engagement and performance Identify and implement process improvements to optimise operational efficiency Maintain accurate reporting on operational variations, freight held, and must-ride freight What We're Looking For Proven experience in transport, fleet, or logistics operations, ideally in a supervisory role Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold team members accountable Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of transport legislation, fatigue management, and dangerous goods requirements Strong time management, organisational, and computer skills (MS Office and operational systems) Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Career growth and leadership development opportunities Supportive team culture with a strong focus on safety and wellbeing Employee discounts and perks across a wide range of partnersIf this role excites you and you're ready to lead a great team, we'd love to hear from you!
